What does it mean "chat error comunication problems"?

it comes up when I try to log into chat and it wont allow me to chat

It means you have a communication problem in your chat request. It means your "handshake" ain't gonna work. You have to reconfig your chat config file. Try requesting membership again. You will probably have to use a new name. Aside from that, you can reload you communication interface and see if your current name will still work.

P. S. Yahoo Chat is using a new protocol. You have  to login thru Messenger now.
