  1. Prostate problems in men, I don't know in women what that means.

  2. do you drink alot of water or water before bed? thats all it would be, i use to all the time as well. but dont worry nothing is wrong :)

  3. you could be super hydrated, it could be diabetes, women it could be an early pregnancy symptom, it could be a UTI, it could be lots of things. To find out exactly what it could be, check with your doc. No one here can tell you what it is...

  4. Depends on age and s*x

  5. Could be any number of reasons.  Do you drink a lot of liquids prior to going to bed?  If not, and you feel this is bothersome for you, I would consult your doctor.  Frequent urination in combination with excessive thirst and hunger are the hallmark signs of diabetes.  In middle-aged and older adults, frequent urination is commonly caused by a condition of the pelvic muscles called overactive bladder.  They have pills that can help treat this.  A kidney stone or stone somewhere else in the urinary tract could also be a cause, but you would probably know if you had a stone as they are quite painful.

  6. Cancer.  Taking diuretics before you go to bed.  Cancer.

  7. Indication of possible early stage diabetic condition.

  8. 1-2 times is considered normal and depends on how much do you  drink at night/before sleep.

More 2 times despite normal intake of water could mean :

    1. Prostat hyperplasia

    2. Heart insufficiency

    3. Drugs induced (Diuretics)

    4. Urine tract Infection/inflammation

    5. Pregnancy

    6. Sphincter Muscle weakness (Incontinence) or pelvic floor muscle weakness (overweight)

    7. Diabetes

or find in google search, key word "Nycturia"

  9. It would be easy and worthwhile testing for diabetes. It's a very simple test. Go and see your practise-nurse at your doctor's surgery.

  10. Once, twice etc is normal.

What other symptoms are also present.

Do you have increased thirst, pain or burning on urination, fever, abdominal pain, or back pain?

Have you had any bladder infections in the past? e.g.Chronic or recurrent urinary tract infection-Cystitis.

Is there a family history of diabetes?

    What medications are being taken?

Certain drugs including diuretics (if taken late in the day), cardiac glycosides, some of the "cycline"drugs, lithium(depression etc.),  phenytoin(for epilepsy), propoxyphene(for pain), and excessive vitamin D

Have you changed your diet recently?

Sometimes medicines and food can cause the urine to become very acidic or strong, and the bladder wants to get rid of it as soon as possible, and triggers a sphincter muscle to open and let the urine out!

How much caffeine do you consume each day?

Drinking too much fluid before bedtime, particularly coffee, caffeinated beverages.

Alcohol can be the cause(getting p--s-d,appropriately)!

Do you drink alcoholic beverages and, if so, how much each day?

Obstructive sleep apnoea and other sleeping disorders

Does nightime urination interfere with adequate sleep and rest?

Prostate gland problems in men can cause this, also congestive heart failure and chronic renal failure in both sexes.

  11. As well as all the scarey answers on here it could be something simple like a bladder infection. Or it could be stress related.

The best thing however is to go to see a good Doctor to put the fears at bay. I've done it myself, with a small problem - I got all worried about the possibilities to find it was fine really.

I get up regularly, once a night to urinate and that's fine, I'm not worried.

  12. i used to wake up feeling full and needs to go to the toilet in the middle of the night and this really pissed me off... only if i drink water 1 hours before sleeping i experienced this. I don't see any serious health problems on this matter.

Because while we are sleeping it is the time that our body cleanse itself so don't worry just go and wiwi... :-)
