What does it mean to be a "man" according to Islam?

You know how they say to be a man. Well what is the Islamic take on that issue?

Surely, men who submit themselves to GOD and women who submit themselves to Him, and believing men and believing women, and obedient men and obedient women, and truthful men and truthful women, and men steadfast in their faith and steadfast women, and men who are humble and women who are humble, and men who give alms and women who give alms, and men who fast and women who fast, and men who guard their chastity and women who guard their chastity and men who remember Allah much and women who remember Him - Allah has prepared for all of them forgiveness and a great reward. (33:35)

It means to fulfill all the responsibilities of a man, and to conduct himself as a man - his responsibilities and behavior towards his parents, wife, children, other family members, boss/authorities, community members, co-workers, and anybody else that he meets each and every day of his life.

Hold your woman in servitude. Don't let her think. Take away all of her basic human rights. Continously remind her of her lowliness. Sabotage any professional aptitude she may possess, she must never appear more intelligent than you.
