  1. Bullish - the market will rise

Bearish - the market will drop

  2. We are presently in a bear market.  If the market pulls back for "x" amount of months consecutively, we are in a Bear market. (Don't know how many months "X" represents.  ditto for a Bull market.  If the market advances "X" amount of months consecutively, we are in a Bull market.  You can have a one or two month reversal, but if it doesn't carry thru, that is called a rally.   Or if it goes down for one or two months it is called a correction.

  3. Bull investors pretty much believe in the market rising and base their investing strategies on that. They are optimists. Bear investors try to make money on the thought that the market is falling. They invest in a way to make money from a failing market.

    Bull-belief in a rising market

    Bear-belief in a falling market
