For two nights in a row i had a dream about a dog bitting my foot but i never saw it's face. It was always surrounded by black. Then in the last dream i went to move it and it bite my hand. The bite didn't draw blood but it hurt and was more of a pressure pain.

Does this mean anything when you dream about it?

  1. Two of your friends will become your enemy ; be prepare to be attack ; and you do not expect that ;so stay on the look out

  2. I had never dreamed of something like that. It's probably from something that you have read, a tv show that you saw or an event that had happend recently.

  3. I had a dream once.  It didn't mean squat.

Neither have any of my dreams in the past sixty-five years.  If you want to examine reality, instead of fantasy, investigate the workings of REM sleep, and how our lives and sanity depend on such manifestations of unconscious images while we sleep.

  4. black is like the old saying bubble bubble toil in trouble...unfavorable omen...you may uncover a secret of something you would prefer not to know when been bitten by an animal

  5. I like the website www.dreammoods.com. Here's what it says:

"To dream that a dog bites your on the leg, suggests that you have lost your ability to balance aspects of your life. You may be hesitant in approaching a new situation or have no desire to move forward with your goals. "

  6. these are MONSTER dreams.  I'm sure they're full of meaning.  I was also bitten by a black dog in the side (in a dream!) and could feel the teeth in me which woke me up.  It's got to have a huge meaning, and yet I don't know what it is even in my own case - never could figure it out.

I have heard that when a dream repeats it is even more important.  The mind is very interested in you understanding the point of the whole thing so it repeats the dream to get your attention.

It's certainly a dream of warning of the most direct sort.  If you...  do something....  this dog is going to bite you SO HARD!

So what is it that you must do?  ...or must not ever do?

The foot will often represent the p***s in a dream - the hand - not so sure about what that might symbolize.  Hands are much more complex as a symbol.   So the dog bites at your foot - castration fears?  That doesn't get your attention so the dog later bites your hand.

The dog is black?  "surrounded by black" - represents the unconsciousness - the animal within - the beast who lives inside of us - sexuality.

It's trying to tell you something as it was once trying to tell me something.  Perhaps you'll have more luck figuring it out.

To some degree these giant forces of the mind (your biting dog) are only making themselves known.  In our culture we don't have religious rituals or coming-of-age customs which allow the animal (The Hulk) to come forward and be part of us.  The animal always has to live in the shadows at the back of the mind.  But in the old day when you went to kill a reindeer with a stick, you had to call on the animal (the Hulk) to provide you the strength to do your job.  Figure that we lived this life for hundreds of thousands of years before we became "civilized".

So perhaps it is only YOUR animal introducing himself and showing you what he can do - he can bite the c**p out of your foot.

Or perhaps I'm just wrong - but it's fun anyway.
