What does it mean to dream of dogs?

In my dream there were 2 golden Retrievers,1 mixed breed named Butch,another breed who all followed me to my old house.

At my old house we had to climb up stairs to get to the door. But in my dream the stairs were broke but somehow I got upstairs.

Dogs are very good omens...usually they mean faithful friends are around you. Since you dreamt of your old house, maybe you feel worried about meeting new people but the dogs following you means that those couple of trustworthy friends will be close to you.
