What does it mean to get a bid to nationals for cheerleading?

okay's the first answer semi right....

yes you can get a bid from sending in a tape of your routine but thats not the only way to receive a bid... you can also receive a bid to nationals if you attend cheer camp i know that NCA does it this way. Getting a bid to Nationals sounds fancy but in reality anyone can actually go to Nationals... Now as to why not everyone does go is simply because of money issues. The association that sponsors Nationals DOES NOT pay a certain cheerleading organization to come into their competition; the organization itself has to raise the money by fund raising and such means.

hey. well basically after u send in your tape to the assosiation like UCA or somthing like that, if they like it and think ur good enuf they pay for some of ur squads expenses.
