What does it mean to get a star on ur question??

If you see a star on your question

this means someone or some people

found it interesting.  There are no points for getting

stars but it show you or other people what was found interesting.

How to activate the star:

click on the star icon below the question

it will luminate

you can also do so from the word interesting.

Removing a star:

click on the star again

and its gone.

How to tell if a question was starred

simply go to the star or the word interesting

a message will show someone found this question interesting.

or so many people found this question interesting.

If you star questions

you can go to your profile scroll down

until you get to a tab starred questions

You can also do this to check on someone elses

starred questions.

What’s with all those thumbs downs? That’s what I’d like to know! Those are all good answers! I think “Night's Howl, a Lonely Soul” gave you the best answer so far!

People star questions if they think it is interesting! Also, people who have added you as one of their contacts will be able to see questions that you star. And you will be able to see questions that your contacts star. Most of my contacts are Doctor Who fans so I see a lot of them staring Doctor Who related questions. I star mostly Doctor Who questions (sometimes other questions if I think they are interesting or fun enough to answer) knowing that someone who added me as a contact will also see the question and might answer if they also find it interesting.

Also, one of my contacts stared your question. I saw it only because she stared it. I don’t think I would have ever noticed this question if one of my contacts hadn’t stared it.

It means that the poerson who clicked on it  found your question interesting enough to look into it and read the answers that were sent in.  I think that we tend to find things interesting when we simply don't know enough about them to feel like I know about that.
