  1. You should have applied for British nationality.

When you are recognised as a citizen of UK, you can apply for a British Passport.

  2. In the first place, it means that you are an Irish citizen. BUT - the fact that you do not have a British/English or whatever passport does not mean that you are not a British citizen. First of all, wherever you are, check with the English Embassy, and find out if you qualify. If you do, the next step is to apply for the passport.

  3. Basically, yes, though you may be eligible for dual nationality.  Bear in mind that British nationality law is some of the most complicated in the world.

  4. It does not mean that. You should apply for it and be sure you could prove that you were born there.
