What does it mean to have dreams that some who you used to be in love with didnt have the same feelings back

well this girl who i used to be deeply madly in love with and my heart would tell me she was the one for me, said she didnt like me back when I told her I liked her I liked her through myspace a long time agooo..and i accepted that and was really hurt and i let go of the thought of there being us. every once in a while i keep having dreams that she always has my back when i need her, like one i had a dream i was in a fight with this guy for some reason and she came in and held him back and helped me out. and i that she wants to get close to me and tries to make attempts.. then i had a dream also that she was my partner on this journey we were supposed to do and she had my back.. we also went shopping together becuase i think we had to stay in the same cabin...
