What does it mean to judged against something? can you give me some examples and also what are some examples of the very thing that would be judged against?? Thank you

I believe this is just stating that we cannot assume that our perceptions and judgments of others have any certainty or validity because each individuals "reality" is based on their individual perceptions... so once we recognize that others are judging us wrongfully, we can stop judging others because there is no right or wrong in personal judgments, only individual perspectives.

  2. You worded your question...I don't really get what you said. Maybe you meant like when someone say "against my own judgement"? That basically means that even though their judgement says otherwise (for example, don't eat the cake is what their judgement says), they're going to eat the cake anyways. They're going against their own judgement.
