What does it mean to own a picture in myspace?

When one of my friends goes like I own this pic, does that mean it's theirs? what does it mean?

i know that i put a comment saying "___ owns" but what does it really mean?

It just means they like it so they claim it...

basically it just means that they like the picture and they want to claim it.

like,

say that your bestfriend just put up a picture and you think she looks cute, you say that you so own that picture because you think its cute.

then in the caption she would write like "so and so owns"

understand?

i dont know who came up with that crazy thing but i dont change my captions for it.

its some stupid trend that people think is cool.

someone puts up a picture, and their friend comments it saying something like "i own" blah blah blah, and then the person who's picture it was changes the caption to "___ owns"

no, that person really doesn't own the picture, thats impossible.:)

its just like, a little game, if you will.
