What does it mean to "download" a song on an artists myspace?

if i click download on a song in a myspace music profile, can i like put it on itunes and then to my ipod or what? what does it do? and also if i can put it in my itunes library, how do i accomplish that?

yeah, when you downlaod a song you can put it on your ipod and listen to it and everything. when you download it you look for the file in your computer and double click on it and it will prabably open up with itunes or windows if you have it

Downloading a song from MySpace is like downloading from any other source. You can save it to your desktop, play it in iTunes, and copy it to your iPod. Simple as that. So, yes, by clicking "download", you can put it on your iPod.
