What does it mean to "reseat" your power adapter??

Well I just bought a replacement charger for my computer and it told me that it didn't recognize it and i should try to reseat it.

Can u be a little more specific? If u meant reset, then just unplug your power adapter and insert it back again, after a few seconds. I hope this was helpful.
