He had like 3 inch-long purple nails w/ daisies on them. He told me how he had fingered his girlfriend for her birthday the night before, he then pointed to his index finger and said "thats the one i did it with."

It depends...have you checked your closet to determine if there is anything 'missing'?  Perhaps you left a personal item behind... If you are on good terms, call and ask if he has 'run across' anything of yours that you need to pick up or have mailed.  If things go well, tell him about the dream and ask what color polish he is currently using...(they do make nice dull polish for men who need to stay manicured)...leave out the part about the girl friend's birthday... Somehow, his 'gift' seemed lewd, crude, and 'cheap'.

Maybe you are trying to process weeding him out of your life.  If you are still "very close friends," it might be healthier not to be.  Could it be time to move on?  I think your dream is trying to help you do so.
