What does it mean to switch personalities in a dream?

What would it mean if i dreamt that i was in someone elses body but with my personality, and i saw me in my dream?

Switching personalities in dream or putting yourself into some body suggests two things.

1. You may have some sort of denial in you. Projecting being into someone's body suggest that there is some discontent in your life. That may indicate some low self esteem or low confidence in you and instead of being yourself, you want to be someone else.

2. You may be feeling jealousy or helpless.  Projecting being into someone's body may also indicate that you are feeling helpless about your current situation in reality.  You may be feeling lots of things that you are incapable of doing.  That is why in dream you put yourself into someone's body instead of your own.

By retaining your own personalities could indicate some conflict in you. You somehow realize yourself in personalities but being in different body shows some denial and dissatisfaction in reality.
