I also have a hard time breathing particularly when I inhale that's why my breathing is shortened. My chest xray is normal. My ecg result is incomplete bundle branch block. During my last check up, the doctor checked my heartbeat but at that moment I was experiencing that same chest pain. The doctor could not diagnose what's the problem. He just recommended that I should undergo 2D echo.??? It is still not clear with me. The doctor also gave me medicines to take. Medicines for the chest pain-for the heart. Can somebody teLL me what is the problem?

  1. The question is very brief and lacks a lot of other information needed. Chest pain is caused by a lot of different factors and each one has it own diagnosis. They do have some similarities but in detailed format the conclusions are apart.

In your case " Pleurisy " has to be ruled out because your x-ray is normal. The next best bet is " Angina " and your doctor seems to be already diagnosing You for it. That's why "Two-dimensional echocardiograms ( 2D echo )" have been suggested to view the activity of your heart.

I will recommend that You do keep visiting your doctor and be taking the medicines prescript to You. Also, try to get a referal for an EKG test.
