What does it mean when I have dream of having a boyfriend when I've never had one ?

so i have dreams that i have a boyfriend and stuff and we'll hold hands and hug and i feel so happy in my dream. and then i wake up and im dissapointed because i wish it was real and ive never had a boyfriend. ive always believed that you dream about what you can have. so does that mean i wont get a boyfriend anytime soon ? im 14 and people say im really pretty and i almost won best looking for superlatives at my school. but im kind of shy when im around boys. so also what can i do to overcome shyness ??

I didnt have my first boyfriend till I was 18. Your to young to be worrying about that, enjoy being 14 and single because I gurentee you, you will find that guy and you will find you were worrying about nothing- so enjoy it while it lasts. Most guys are immature at that age, sorry if any guys read this. We all are at this age, its part of growing up. You will get confidence as you get more experience through life, just be yourself and the rest will follow. Goodluck with everything..

Cute. That's the "dream date". When you start dating you will know if you really like the guy because that is how  a boyfriend should make you feel. Happy! If you aren't feeling it don't waste your time just to say you have a boyfriend. These days it is good to be shy. You might actually retain your childhood longer than a lot of girls do today. A good man will appreciate that much more and you will find yourself more "adored"  by a guy than just a girl to get his kicks with. Good for you.

I want to say again, don't get a boyfriend just to have one. Wait until you meet a guy that makes you feel good about yourself.
