I have been dreaming about work almost exclusively for the last month or so. Not really bad or good dreams, just situational dreams with a few of the details changed from real life.

We were at a function of some sort, like a convention, only the reception part was held in the foyer of where I went to Jr. high. Some of the volunteers I work with were lined up like a receiving line and I was also in the receiving line. Then, one of the volunteers nudged my elbow and pointed up and said “wait, listen. Can you hear that?”

In the dream, I looked up, and eventually I became awake and found myself staring at the ceiling. I woke up to the sounds of my neighbors having s*x.

  1. dreams are just your brain interpreting what information that it has gathered through the day, etc

that's normal to have that happen in a dream. happens to me all the time.

(the first time i ever slept with an alarm clock i had a dream that i was the rabbit from the turtle and rabbit race story or whatever

-the rabbit slacks off thinking he can win but the turtle ends up winning -

anyway, in my dream the turtle caught up and i kicked it to get it out of my way so i could win and it's shell had like a car alarm and starting beeping and i freaked out and couldn't figure out what to do and when i woke up it was my alarm clock going off lol)

  2. It doesn't really symbolism anything, it just means that your subconscious is aware of what it going on in the waking world, possibly because you aren't sleeping well enough.
