I'm looking at college classes online and some of the class don't have a name under faculty, it says staff. Does that mean they don't know who is going to teach it or that more than on teacher is going to teach it?

  1. Most times it's either a grad student teaching, or it could be a team tought class of more than one teacher, or they really don't know who's going to teach it yet.  Most times though its a grad student.

  2. It means that they haven't put an exact teacher in for that class but they will before the class starts.

  3. It just means that no one was assigned to teach that class on the day that the web page was set up.  It will probably not be team taught.

Someone said that it would probably be a TA.  That may or may not be true.  It would not be true for any course other than an introductory class.  Some schools do not use a lott of TAs, but others do.
