I never understood what that meant. Does it mean that that color draws more attention to your eyes? Oh and what colors make medium brown eyes pop, as in colors of shirts and eyeshadow

  1. it basically means that it enhances and yeah, draws more attention to your eyes. you should go to almay for eye enhancing make up :) they have eyeliners, shadows, and mascaras.

  2. well each color has an opposite

these opposites attract and create a look more appealing than if the color matches or is extremely close to your natural eye color

when the opposites are put together as in makeup it draws out and enhances the beauty of the eye instead of it getting lost in layers and shades

  3. It is based of color theory.  It is what most makeup artist use when they are designing a look as a painter would a painting.  Complimentary colors are what going to make your eye color pop.  If you have blue eyes the complimentary color is orange, so bronzes, and amber look great.  If you have green, the complimentary color is red.  Brown eyes look into your eye and see if you have any flakes of any colors and use the complimentary color.  http://www.malanenewman.com/images/color...
