no that just mean she is not the typical skinny girl, someone curvy would be consider like Tara Banks, Jennifer Lopez etc.. Or like some men like to say a little cushion for the pushing lol

Many guys love curvy women.  It doesn't mean she is overweight. Some, women are to thin anyway. Some guys like waifer thin, but most really, really like some curves. Plus some curves are healthy.

to me its in at the waist and out at the hips and b***s. I wouldn't classify obese as curvy as usually there's no in bit.

It normally means that she's a bit tubby round her waist. Not very overweight but not slim. I would say Ugly Betty is curvy.
