What does it mean when a green tree frog puffs out it's throat?

i have a green tree frog and evertime i see it it is puffing out its throat

It means that is is looking for a mate...that is if it's a male.

If it's a female, it means that it feels threatened by your presence or is annoyed about something.

Is the cage big enough for it?

Green tree frogs are supposed to have lots of room, for reasons I trust I do not need to explain.

Also, don't keep her cage in a tight corner or make the cage really dark.

in many amphibians puffing of the throat in male animals is used to obtain a mate. however if it is female i do not know
