What does it mean when a guy says he doesn't like kisses?

two years ago before he left(he's back) a week before he left I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. I pulled away and his reaction was a beet red face, his blue eyes turned black, and he had a huge smile on his face. He froze there for awhile. The day before he left we hugged and I turned to look at him and he turned. All I could see was his lips and his lips were so close to mine that I could have easily touched it! I got scared and froze and after several seconds he pulled away by jerking his head and making moaning sounds.

Feeling bad I called him up that night and he said that he doesn't like kisses.

He's lying right? If he hates kisses then why did he react the way he did and why did he just linger there so close to me?

Men are very simple to understand. What we say, we mean. No mind games or word play for us. It simply mean's he doenst like kisses. Its that simple.
