What does it mean when a parole officer changes status from parole violation to fugitive. Already incarcerated

  1. A Violation is when they were to contact the officer and didn't , or have not resided where they were supposed to, or keep other conditions. To be classified FUGITIVE is when the PO has had made numerous attempts to get in contact with the parolee but couldn't and a warrant hads been issued for their arrest as a parole violation/ wanted fugitive status.

    If they are already incarcerated they can  be considered a fugitve as they are in custody on a different charge.


  2. It means that you have a warrant for your arrest.
