it can mean many things. my son(17 years old) has aspergers syndrome and absolutley dosent talk about feelings. my daughter(14) isnt much better in that regard. thier dad is like that is well ( we are now divorced). they are all very intellegent but have problems with communication, and sometimes, a lack of compassion.i i think sometimes it is inate or genetic, but can be overcome to some degree through willingness and practice.

I dont express myself, or at least I find it hard to, unless its anger, which seems to be what I'm best at expressing, but really its just because I dont want other people to know if somethings wrong most of the time, because I don't like people to worry about me. I think it mostly stems from trust issues though, in time, people who don't express themselves can warm up to people and tell them how they're feeling

He is a coward else  should be a reticent.He must interact with others and should try to be an active personality in a social gathering...
