What does it mean when an apartment saids it has washer/dryer connections?

Just what it says. Electrical outlets for the washer and for the dryer. Water and drain connections for the washer and an exhaust connection for the dryer.

It means there is a place where you can hook up your washer and dryer.  It has the outlet and vent for your dryer, and the water connections and the drain for your washer.

It means there are washer/dryer connections in the wall, and not the washer & dryer.

They are not providing the actual washer and dryer, instead they have hookups where you can bring your own machines.
