Okay it was working fine when my mom was playing on the laptop then she shut it down. But when I go to turn it on it says that you are logged onto a temporary profile and everything could be loss if you shut down. Also I went through my files and everything is seriously gone. Like my pictures, songs for itunes, and stuff. Do I have a virus? or a hacker? please help before my mom kills me.

  1. Either you logged on as a Guest, or your system got infiltrated by an annoying virus that logs you in as a guest and doesn't allow you to log in as anything else.

To resolve start up your computer in safe mode, and run your anti-viral/spyware/malware program.

If this doesn't work then use system restore from safe mode and revert your system to an earlier date when your computer was functional.

If you are excessively unlucky and both those do not work then you will have to reinstall your OS.

  2. just say it was your moms fault.......
