What does it mean when in a dream, your friend saves you from someone chasing you with the intent to kill you?

In my dream, I was being chased by a man with blonde hair, and he had the intent to kill me and eat me. Before that, i learned that some weird chemical had been released into the air and I was one of the only survivors to not get infected. At first I was begging for my life and trying to convince him why I needed to live. I said things like "but I need to live! What bout my future? how will I get married, have kids, go to school!?"

I was trying to convince him that life or my life was important.

But then he still didnt care and chased me halfway down my street, until my best friend whom I'm dating came from the direction of his own house on his bike. He said something to the blonde man who was maybe10-15 feet away from me and the blonde man cursed him and gave up. My friend took me to my neighbors house where he promised me safe.But-

When I saw my friend coming to my rescue, the thoughts in my dream were 'thank God, the angel is here"
