the file is not on the web server, either it got moved or you made a typo and next time read it cuz im pretty sure it says this

There's no way to "fix" it unless you typed in the wrong URL.

Whoever owns the page/website has moved or deleted the file and this is the result you're going to get.

You might want to contact them from their home page and see if they have an alternate URL for the page you seek.

It means that the website (either the main part like www.dell.com) is not up, or there is a typo in the way you are putting the rest in (or the link your clicking on is dead).

The first part is translated into an IP address.

THe rest is a folder on that specific webserver.

If any part is wrong, you are requesting information from something that doesnt exist.  

What website are you trying to go to?

Have you been to that site before?

It also could mean that the website is temporarily down for maintenance.

generally, the best fix is to click the back arrow, and then try it again.. sometimes it's just a small glitch in the system..

The 404 or Not Found error message is an HTTP standard response code indicating that the client was able to communicate with the server but either the server could not find what was requested, or it was configured not to fulfill the request and did not reveal the reason why. 404 errors should not be confused with "server not found" or similar errors, in which a connection to the destination server could not be made at all.  The error has to be fixed on the server end.  Also, recheck the address you were going to.  It could no longer exist.
