  1. FAT hands and little sausage fingers. Unlike me who has long friggin' chimpanzee hands.

  2. Actually, no one has gotten it totally right yet.

Cadet gloves are for people with BOTH shorter AND wider fingers/hands.

If a cadet glove fits you, a normal glove will have fingers that are too tight and too long, and the palm will probably be too tight.

If a normal glove fits you, a cadet glove will have fingers that are too short and not snug enough, and the palm will probably be too loose.

Be aware, though, that like in other clothing, there's not a standard here. It's really a more relative term, because my hand is a Cadet in Titleist gloves, but regular Mizuno gloves fit me well.

Your best bet is to always try a glove on before buying it, especially if you've never worn that brand before.

Even if you have, still try it on. The old version of the Mizuno Retroflex (Men's XL Non-Cadet) fits me perfectly, but the new version just doesn't feel right.

  3. In a cadet the fingers are shorter.  The width of the palm is the same, but fingers are shorter.

  4. Basically, shorter fingers, narrower overall fit.  Kind of like a half-size glove.

  5. Shorter fingers.!

  6. The above answers are incorrect.  It's a glove designed for people with wide hands relative to the length of their fingers.

  7. Cadet gloves have shorter fingers. Go see for yourself the next time you're at your favorite golf retailer. The fit will be the same, but the regular's fingers will be just a bit longer.

  8. cadet gloves are gloves with fatter fingers.

  9. Shorter fingers, more for a junior (teenager) golfer.
