  1. it could mean she's scared, or just had to go to the bathroom. :) it could probably mean more stuff, but that's all i can think of.

  2. Well, it depends!

It could be fright, but if she already knows you and is comfortable, it could just be that she's 'marking' you! This means she knows you're a safe place to be. ;P

  3. it means he is either scared, or just had to pee lol.

  4. It could mean that she's scared or nervous, but most likely she just had to go so she went!

    Hope this helps =D

  5. she's either scared or nervous. try to talk to her gently and softly before you pick her up to calm her nerves down a bit. then pet her a little to show you mean no harm, then pick her up.

  6. It depends on the amount of pee.  If she does a whole lot, either she is scared (usually if this is the case they will p**p too) or simply had to go to the bathroom.  Rats who are young (4-6 months) have to urinate more often and if they are taken out for more than 10-20 minutes at a time they will need to pee and are not too proud to do it on you.  It's best to put them back in their cage to allow them to pee and p**p every 10-20 minutes or so, longer as they get older.

If it's just little dribbles here and there, she is scent-marking you.  Rats usually scent mark as a sign of dominance or affection.  There really isn't anything you can do to stop this behaviour, just keep some tissues handy when you take her out!

Hope that helps, good luck with your rat!

  7. It means she's scared of being picked up
