What does it mean when my guy friend calls me his wifey?

*I'm asking in this section for more experienced answers. :)

[We're 16]. Ok, so I had a ring on my finger...and my guy friend put it on my left hand and said that we're married, playfully though. Well it's been about 3 months since then, and he still calls me his "wifey" to this day. I know it sounds so immature, but what could this mean???

He could be just joking around, or it may be his way of hinting that he's interested.  I recommend asking  him.

You got lots of time to settle down, your only 16. But he justs wants to let you know that if all doesn't go well for you and him, he may want you to be his wife. I dont know where your guy is from but the word wifey originates from the Jamaican Patois language. It means you are or someday can be his main girl. Meaning wifey gets any and everything she wants while matey gets nothing but a call when he wanna do the do.
