  1. you have a short in the dash somewhere.

  2. Yes this is bad.

The current being supplied to your electronic product is too high for what the product needs for it to run. Either change the fuse in the plug to a lower setting (consult user hand book first).

Or it could have what is called "burnt out" where it is no longer sufficient.

I know that under EU standards if this product radiates heat and is not intended too. You must dispose, firstly by returning it back to the supplier (shop/store) where you purchased it from. You usually have 14 days to return faulty products. Under EU laws if the product becomes dangerous you have up to 12 months to return the product. They should then cut the plug off the product and dispose of correctly.

A problem may occur where the product may spark and set on fire. The mico board in this case might heat up and the electricity may cause a flamed fire. Depending on the size you may either discover a fire or an explosion first.

Switch the product off and remove from the wall. Remove any batterys from the product. Remove these with caution as these will be extremely hot.

  3. Mine are like that too, i never thought anything of it, i'll keep reading on here to find out what others have to say....i'm interested now...I always thought it was because of the back lighting..ha ha i'm sure i'm wrong though...

  4. auto trans temps reach 740 degrees if you have rear wheel drive that could be were heat is coming from

  5. Something in the dash is overheating. Take it in and have it checked out. It could cause a fire.
