What does it mean when my vitamins says "biologically active"?

I'm taking vitamin E that says "biologically active" and I was wondering what it means. It was cheaper than the kind that doesn't say "biologically active" so I chose it.

nothing.

all vitamins are biologically active by definition...if they weren't, why would you bother taking them?  It's just a marketing gimmick....verbal filler for the packaging.

EDIT  Ginsf...enzymes aren't "alive", they are just a special kind of protein, and they have nothing to do with vitamins, although some vitamins are cofactors in enzymatic reactions.
