  1. Don't throw yourself a pity party. Bullies are very good at pushing people buttons to get what they want. And in your case, it was to go away.  The best revenge is not to get back at them , but to stand your ground and not be insulted, humiliated or intimated. By standing your ground you leave them powerless. And bullies want power.


  2. Since you describe it as "getting back' that is passive agressive behavior, and it isn't very effective.

  3. It means you're trying to get people's pity by acting all sad.  That's not 'getting back at them' though.
