What does it mean when people say you come on very strong?

Well, I'll try my best to answer.  To my understanding it means you have a strong personality & character, you are very independent, and maybe sometimes quick to judgement (sometimes even coming off as slightly rude without realizing it)...  Many times that saying applies to a new relationship or someone's opinion of you after a first date.  You might give off an abrasive vibe, which can intimidate people.  The opposite would be humbled, open-minded, laid-back, soft-toned, etc...

it depends on the context.  coming on strong could mean you are flirting with someone very heavily.  It could mean you are direct and to the point also.
