  1. maybe your a L*****n (why does you being pretty matter?)

  2. the person is talented in that field

  3. That they're not talented enough to draw someone who's not pretty?

I'm attractive as well, and draw mostly beautiful faces, but ones that are unique and imperfect (unbalanced jawline, distorted proportions, etc.).

When I want more of a challenge, I draw old, wrinkly faces, and get very detailed, right down to the follicles. This is usually the only time I'll draw men! -laughs-

  4. Just that they find those the most appealing things to draw. That's not unusual - women have been the primary focus of art throughout time for both male and female artists because they lend themselves to it so much better than men do with body shape and so on, and are seen as the representatives of human beauty. I also draw female faces more than anything else.

You do have to watch for getting into an artistic rut, though. Concentrating too much on your favourite subject can make you uncomfortable with drawing other things due to having less experience. It's true that less attractive people, and older people, are more difficult to draw, as their faces usually need to be more detailed and asymmetrical. If you want to be a good and versatile artist you have to venture out of your favourite zone quite often. And remember to practice drawing the body, too! :)
