What does it mean when the parking brake light and ABS light activate when driving sometimes on a 01 Tahoe?

what does it mean when the parking brake light and ABS light activate when driving sometimes on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe. They do not activate all the time however they always light up together. My scanner does not indicate anything wrong and I have not taken the tahoe to the shop yet. What is the problem?

Sounds like a ABS sensor is ready to quit or the connection to it is loose or corroded.

chevy had a rust problem at the abs sensors you should be able to remove the sensor and clean the rust from under them

it means the the abs system had a problem that you need to have checked out. the abs system is not directly linked to that scanner point but you do connect through that port. if you can hook up your scanner and cue up a brake system check then you should be able to find the problem. if your scanner will not allow you to do this, you have two choices, go to auto zone and see if they can pull the abs codes, or go to a brake shop or the dealer and let them deal with it.
