What does it mean when the spot below your eye twitches?

One of my family members eye, (or eyes) haven't stopped twitching.

Its been going on for about 2 weeks already, and it wont go away. It switches from left to right at times... it just become very bothersome.

Why does this happen? and what can help it?

Please help.

It's just like a muscle spasm! he/she might be a little stressed they just need to relax and it should just go away. Try tea bags or a mask for their eyes

I can tell you exactly why (and I am psyched right now that this information is useful for once!) lack of sleep or potassium- tell them to eat some bananas and get some more shut eye! I guarantee it.
