usually it's annual "household" income. Meaning all of the money that comes into your home in a year. This could include employment income, child support, rental income, etc. I usually put the income before taxes unless they specifically say after taxes or net income.

Annual means year so what they want is all income you and your family has made for the whole year...Anyone living in your home.
