if its sore n red - a infection, see doc - u would know if it was infected tho. if nothing too much dont worry about it its just a little rubbish round the area, squease it out and cover it

It depends what it looks like. Cuts sometimes ooze a clear, straw-colored liquid, which is plasma and is perfectly normal. Just keep the cut clean and don't pick off the scab, it will heal (unless it's a really large cut and then you need to get stitches.)

If the pus isn't clear and is yellow or white or green and the cut is hot to the touch and the skin around the cut is pink, it's probably infected. You need to wash it with hydrogen peroxide and put on an antibacterial cream, like Neosporin, and keep the cut covered. If it's small, it could heal on its own, but you might need to go to the doctor to get antibiotics if the infection doesn't go away or spreads.
