It means someone is using you. Also, someone is taking advantage of one of your weaknesses. Example: A little kid is given twenty bucks, and a teenager wants it. The teenager sells the kid a "magic wand"--which is just a twig with glitter--in order to get the twenty dollars. He took advantage of the child's gullibility.
