or at least have to check it out. i do this mostly with my ex, but with other people too. a thought will pop into my head that shes out with some guy or something or doing something that i will not like and i automatically believe it, and have to check to see if it is really true. i do not trust her at all. i was like this even when we were together and this runined our relationship because i always assumed she was going to cheat on me and all these thoughts would pop in my head and i would have to check to see if it was true. is there some mental disorder that causes this? i know im insecure and dont trust her but im pretty sure its more then that. im pretty sure there is some mental problem behind it. is this normal?

  1. It mean that you have no trust in a women because of something that happen in your life with another  women so stop thinking that every women is the same way because they are not thank about who as  done you wrong and go ask her way then when you get your  answer then you can  start to trust women again.

  2. I know someone with a similar problem and they were recently diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. Not to say you have that, but it is something worth looking into. Forms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder could also be a cause. Seeing a therapist might not hurt in this case. Prayer and meditation can also be great ways to control your thoughts, but if you find that its uncontrollable than you should definitely find someone who can help.

  3. whatever it is that's going on in your head has nothing to do with her. it sounds like something old and buried deep within.

yes, you need counseling. but it's cool. you've recognized that there is a problem so now you can move toward healing to work through it.

and it IS normal in a ..... lots of ppl have serious trust issues ..... kind of way. you're definitely not alone.

  4. paranoid

  5. Firstly, you dont have to believe every thought that pops into your head, because you probably have tens of thousands of thoughts every day and it would become wearisome.

Try meditation where thoughts are considered to be just events that happen and not really who you are.  You arent your thoughts and you can control the volume of thoughts that occur in your mind.
