What does it mean when you burn in your dream?

I had a dream that I was horribly injured. I was so burnt up that the doctor said that the fire burnt through my scalp and melted my skull, and that parts of my brain were missing. What could this mean?

Being burned = being hurt emotionally

part of your brain missing = lack of knowledge, understanding and control

You may be feeling somewhat hurt in emotion. You are feeling some lack of control as well.  When you dream of burn or injured, that easily translate into symbol of damage in your emotion.  In other words, you may received some words in real life and you feel nothing you can do about.  Part of your brain missing added the evidence of lack of support, control.

Of course, any horror movie will trigger that type of dream.  Basically, you are helpless right now

To dream that you are burning or injured by fire means that there is a situation in your life that is "burning you up" inside. Your temper may be getting the best of you or you are holding the anger inside, but it is getting to you. Your actually so upset that you can't think straight (thus parts of your brain were missing).
