What does it mean when you continually dream about getting your car stolen?

every night i go to bed fine and i have the same dream of my car being stolen any enlightenment to offer

I've always heard that cars are generally metaphors for your life, and whoever's driving them is the person in control.  So if you're getting your car stolen,  you may somehow feel like you're not in control of your life, or  more specifically that someone else is...without your permission.  The alternative is that you're just really scared of getting your car stolen.

Personally, I think it would depend on the meaning the car has for you.

For example, if you absolutely love the car and it's a big status symbol for you, then maybe you feel as if something is being stolen from you, like you manhood.

However, if the car is just a mode of transportation to you, it could mean that maybe you feel like you're on the wrong path.

There are very simple explanations, however, I believe it is really important to identify what value the car actually has for you (not monetary value either).
