What does it mean when you dream of building a defence againsed something that you know will happen?

It was like there were people who knew that a chainsaw-killer would attack within a certain amount of time. He didn't have the chainsaw just yet, so logically we could have killed him first, but we didn't. I couldn't describe the defenses but even they eventually seemed to be overkill (or being more than needed).

We did get him in the end and it seemed like we turned him around.

  1. Never mind the details about characters- pay attention to the notion of building defenses against some external threat. The current political scene encourages this attitude, so don't feel you are unique this way.

    Other people have described the FUD factor (fear, uncertainty and doubt) as a manipulative device to gain approval for political action.

    If it is pervasive enough, people follow *without thinking* You know he rest.
