I think it means you are going through a process of establishing your sense of yourself as an independent, sexual person.  Your parents' bedroom is the location of the 'primal scene' which represents your ability to conceive of adult sexual relationships and your own place in relation to sexuality.  

Basically, you have accepted that you cannot possess your opposite s*x parent sexually, but you recognise the importance of your parents' relationship as an influence on your ability to be independently sexual.

Perhaps, though, you are still seeking some security from your parents as you establish your sexual independence.  Maybe you need to know that they will still love you when you are an adult, sexually fulfilled person.  By bringing a sexual partner into the primal scene, you seem to be asking for their approval of your sexuality.
