What does it mean when you fall (like trip) in a dream?

because, whenever i fall or trip in a dream like say there was a bump on the sidewalk and i trip over it, i fall then in real life my whole body like moves really fast like i have a big twitch all through my body.

why do we (or i) twitch like that?
