It means that egg, if it had been fertilized, would have produced identical twin chicks.  It's the same way with humans.  Identical twins come from the same egg (fraternal twins come from two eggs).

it means that a death in the family is imminent. That could be good or bad luck, depending on your point of view.

Personally, I do not believe in the folklaw of luck.

It just means that two yolks were generated in the same egg and it would be unlikely to hatch. Looks cute, though :-)

It just means that the hens that lay twin eggs are older. It could also be genetic conditions like heavy laying breeds.  Here is the website......
